Meet your daily Tango puzzle
This Tango puzzle is a sun-and-moon variation on binary logic puzzles, sometimes called binairo. Fill a 6×6 grid so every row and column is balanced. Adjacent equal and opposite clues add another layer: an = joins matching symbols, while a × joins different symbols. This version does not require all completed rows or columns to be distinct.

A few thoughtful strategies
Use the no-three rule
Two suns next to each other need a moon on either side. A sun, a gap, and another sun mean the gap must be a moon.
Count each line
Once a row has three moons, every remaining empty cell in that row must be a sun. Apply the same count to columns.
Follow the signs
Use an equals sign to carry a known symbol across a boundary. Use a cross sign to flip it. Then check the neighboring rows and columns again.
A little more to know
What are the rules of a Tango puzzle?
Every row and column must contain three suns and three moons. No three consecutive cells in a row or column can have the same symbol. Follow all = and × clues.
What do the = and × clues mean?
An = between two cells means those cells contain the same symbol. A × means one is a sun and the other is a moon.
Why can’t I change some symbols?
Symbols marked with a small dot are fixed starting clues. You can only change the cells that were initially empty.
Does every Tango puzzle have one solution?
Yes. A constraint solver verifies uniqueness while generating the clues and removing starting symbols. No identical-row rule is needed in this version.
Can I practice more than once a day?
Yes. Unlimited mode generates another free board whenever you choose New puzzle. Daily boards reset at midnight UTC.
